RECONNECT: A COUPLE'S KETAMINE-ASSISTED THERAPY WORKSHOP
IMG_6166.jpeg

Reconnect is a clinically facilitated, one-day workshop for couples who feel stable in their relationship and want to deepen emotional access, openness, and connection.

This is not crisis repair or discernment counseling. It is designed for lower-conflict, committed couples who are not in heightened relational distress.

The workshop incorporates one low-dose, sublingual ketamine-assisted group session within a carefully structured therapeutic container, with preparation and integration built into the day.

What the Day Includes

  • Group orientation and preparation

  • One facilitated low-dose ketamine-assisted group session

  • Structured couples integration

  • Guided group integration

  • Lunch

  • Time for private couple reflection

  • Therapeutic support throughout

The emphasis is on preparation and integration. The medicine is one component of a larger relational process.

Facilitators

This workshop is co-led by Amber Kerby and Stephan Kerby.

We are partners in both marriage and professional practice, bringing:

  • Clinical training in couples therapy and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy

  • Professional experience facilitating altered-state work

  • Personal experience engaging relational growth through expanded states

This workshop is held from both clinical responsibility and lived understanding.

Who This Is For

This workshop is appropriate for couples who:

  • Are physically healthy

  • Are psychologically stable

  • Are in a committed relationship

  • Are not in active crisis

  • Are not in discernment about whether to remain together

  • Do not have a history of domestic violence or coercion

Stability is essential. Medicine-assisted relational work can intensify emotional material and is best suited for couples with a solid foundation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this therapy?

This workshop is experiential and educational in nature. It does not replace ongoing psychotherapy or medical care.

What does “low-dose” mean?

Low-dose (psycholytic) ketamine allows participants to remain aware and relationally connected while softening habitual defenses. The intention is emotional access and relational openness, not full dissociation.

Why only one ketamine session?

  • Domestic violence or coercive dynamics

  • Active discernment about staying together

  • High-conflict or unstable relationships

  • Untreated severe psychiatric conditions
